Most of the commercial buildings on San Andres don't look bad, but they do look generally boring. The more muted Santa Barbara colors on stuccoed boxes don't work as well here. This area could have a stronger and prouder identity more appropriately reflecting the neighborhood with some fairly inexpensive aesthetic improvements like vibrant building colors and sign and fixture changes in addition to public art like a mural on Foodland discussed already.
